Gynecology PGx Panel

Test Description
The Gynecology PGx Panel is intended for individuals receiving gynecologic therapies who may benefit from personalized pharmacogenetic-guided medication management. This panel evaluates clinically relevant genetic variants associated with drug metabolism, efficacy, and safety for medications used in the treatment of female sexual dysfunction and menopausal-related conditions. Pharmacogenetic testing may help guide medication selection and dosing, improve therapeutic response, reduce the risk of adverse drug reactions, and support more effective individualized treatment strategies. Upon completion of testing, patients receive an interpretive pharmacogenetic report and certificate summarizing clinically relevant results and medication-related findings to support ongoing care and future treatment decisions.

Clinical Description

Medications commonly used in gynecologic care, including hormonal therapies and treatments for reproductive health conditions, may demonstrate variability in response based on genetic factors. Differences in drug metabolism and hormone pathways can influence both efficacy and tolerability. Pharmacogenomic testing may help guide more personalized treatment decisions and improve patient outcomes.
