🔬 Driving Innovation in Maryland: PMCDx at the Germantown Innovation Center
Last month, the Maryland Office of State Procurement had the opportunity to visit Precision Medicine Care (PMC™), an impressive clinical genomics laboratory based in the Germantown Innovation Center in Montgomery County. Led by Sherry Dadgar, Ph.D, FACMG, NYCQ, this dynamic team is on the front lines of advancing precision medicine in Maryland and beyond.
PMCDx is on a mission to bring a personalized medicine approach into routine clinical practice, moving beyond the one-size-fits-all model to deliver care that is individualized, data-driven, and cutting-edge. Their work leverages advanced molecular techniques to support faster, more accurate diagnoses and targeted therapeutic decisions – improving outcomes for patients across Maryland, including underserved communities.
It was a privilege to tour their state-of-the-art lab and see firsthand how Maryland’s biotech sector continues to thrive through innovation, research, and community impact.
